Let’s be honest, it’s always the first book that takes the longest to write and publish. So I have cut-out all the complex pandoc stuff. Let me explain.

If we use just no front-matter and simple configuration files than we do not have to touch any using another language to write filters or have to learn latex to create templates. Then we are just left with creating the writing and then running pandoc using this scaled down setup.

First, the cover image should be 2240 by 1260 and goes in the images sub-folder. The other subfolders are src and dist. The config yml file is:
