With the advent of Web based IDEs such as Atom and VSCode it becomes somewhat important to also tuneup the Google Chrome Browser. Let me show you some secret tricks to slimming down the memory and processes Google Chrome uses.

No more pegging of laptop fan or high CPU and memory use, yeah!

Now, for the steps to make this happen.

Steps To Tuning Google Chrome

1. Go into extensions via Settings and turn off every extension you do not need.

2. In Settings, click on Advance under system tabs, uncheck Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed.

3. Install an AdBlocker as ads run in a separate process just like extensions.
