Did you get your Medium Writer Bonus this week? Why not? Secret writing tip time! I teach you how to find out what content to write.

Medium Writer Bonus Program

I got a bonus writer payment for June, and here are the level tiers listed in that letter:

It goes by a number of writers with specific stats with 499 writers getting 50 dollars, 499 writers getting 100 dollars, and 1000 writers getting 500 dollars.

The member read stats is whatever the top writers get in membership reads that month.

There are some content tricks involved. Let’s dissect some of those tricks!

Two Audiences

There are two audiences. The outside-to-medium audience happens to like the inside mechanics of the subject. For example, in front-end application development the inside-mechanics are code development, visual design UI components, etc.

The Medium audience is more content in the experience of the subject. Take any subject, and what do people focus on when they do not want to do the hard work to grab an understanding of that subject? The focus on what does it feel like and what the experience of doing it is.

And, given the popularity of self-help books, it would seem that this twist on subject content should be the go-to content of successful writing on Medium. And that seems to be the case, as the articles of mine that touch on the experience of the subject have higher reading rates among Medium members.

Conclusion

I am now at 14k views and 2k reads per month. I will be at 30k views and 4k reads at the end of July. And, at end of 2021, I will be at 500k views and 80k reads per month, and 6,000 dollars per month. Why not you?
