Flutter Branding Tools, Shape The View

What is the one thing we have that we can alter to give us a branding tool edge? It is not space as when the app is targeted to phones, usually extra space is something we do not have. And people, we are all thinking too linear.
Let me explain, the focus in Material Design, at least one focus is the shadows edge of an object. We can with our magic Flutter skills change the view(widget) edge shape. We could use that as a branding device in a full branding toolbox.
